About Us

The Gumbo Gourmet is a small Mom and Pop shop hidden in the heart of the Emory community at The Point, specializing in Cajun-inspired dishes that are so good, they feel like a hug on the inside.

We serve three varieties of Gumbo and four kinds of Po'Boys to bring you back to that authentic cajun eating experience. Our food is made in small batches using fresh ingredients, hand-cut vegetables and made-from-scratch remoulade and roux.

We pride ourselves on serving the community and are happy to offer a diverse menu with reduced price specials for our WFH professionals, commuters in the area and students around The Point @ Emory.

To serve the student body, we accept Eagle Dollars in-store and offer the lunch special to students with an ID, whenever we are open and supplies are available.

To serve our corporate community, we partner with Fooda to provide pop-up access and offer special lunch menus to bring the variety needed to the office.

For anyone in need of something different, we offer pop-ups, drop catering, and scheduled bulk pick-up orders.

To cater to those who don't live where you can get good gumbo, and you want to venture out on your own, we offer Gumbo Starter Roux Base, which can ship anywhere in the US.
